The Northern Lights, or auroras, occur in Lapland primarily during the winter months, from about September to April. The best chances to see them are usually from November to March when the nights are long and dark. The auroras are created when solar particles collide with the Earth's atmosphere, and Lapland's clear skies and low light pollution make the area an excellent place to admire them.

For our trips, you only need warm clothes. We provide all the other necessary gear for the excursion.

It's important to choose a location with an unobstructed view of the horizon, free from trees or buildings, to ensure the best sighting of the Northern Lights.
